Inspiring kids to use tech to create a better future for themselves and for others.
At Saturday Kids, students don’t just learn to code. They code to learn.
We cannot teach kids everything there is to know. But what we can do is bring out the curiosity in kids, encourage them to look at problems and think “I can figure this out myself”.
Singapore’s first coding school for kids, since 2012 we have taught over 5000 students how to learn through classes in programming, electronics, digital art and design thinking. In addition to awesome holiday camps and weekly classes, we also collaborate with corporates and non-profit organisations to create access to digital literacy for less privileged kids.
Our social mission has taken us to impact kids as far as Cambodia, Taiwan, Vietnam, and the Philippines. We also run Code in the Community, Singapore’s largest free coding programme for kids from disadvantaged backgrounds. Learn more about our impact.
Our Pedagogy
No lectures. No memorisation.
No ONE right answer.
Like real life, we’re all about trying things out yourself, failing, figuring what went wrong & trying again.
These are the skills & mindset that will last a lifetime and how we learn in real life.
Let’s get kids to learn how to learn. Because the kids who learn to learn become curious, inventive, resourceful human beings who solve real world problems to make a meaningful impact.
Meet the Big Kids
Just a team of misfits, idealists and multi-potentialites who dream big and want to inspire kids to change the world for the better.
Adventures at the intersection of tech, education, and impact.
